Word! It’s day 72 of 365 days of getting it done and I just had the weekend off from this blog. And do you know what? It felt good to have a break. For almost 69 days straight, this blog took up some part of my day and usually for half an hour or so. That’s over 300 hours. Whatever. I’m just adding it up in my head as I type.
Walking away from the blog for two days has been refreshing because it’s allowed me to look at things differently with what I’m trying to achieve here.
At first, it was to simply blog about 365 days of getting it done and get the site ranking on the front page of Google. Then as the days started passing, I knew that the blog was starting to become a life-force of its own. It was becoming a self-propelled beast screaming across the internet and having a blast along the way. But still no real direction except to spread the positivity of my daily actions.
Now that I’ve stepped away from it for two days, 365 days of getting it done has matured. Can that be possible in 48 hours? Yes it can.
Instead of just ploughing through a post for the sake of needing to knock something out, it’s time for the thoughts to be more calculated. It’s in line with how I approach business now.
My career is a big part of getting it done over 365 days. I hung out with my boss today and it’s when you hang out with the people in the know, you get to know people… I got to know myself yet again today. Continually improving is one of the best things a person can do for themselves. So I need to be continually improving and the boss showed me some things today that will help my career – and dramatically!
It’s going to take more action than is currently being generated. Don’t take that the wrong way. That just means I’m like Usain Bolt, always looking to be that 1% better than I was the day before.
Getting it done all over the place!
