For some time now I’ve been contemplating a blog that I can track my life for the period of 365 days and see what transpires. Walking the dogs this afternoon in sunny Melbourne, I made up my mind to start 365 days of getting it done!
Today is the 9th of December 2012 and it’s 5:59pm. I bought The Dark Knight Rises on blu-ray today and it’s the type of movie that gets me pumped. No matter where the inspiration comes from, as long as it inspires, then I’m all for it and that movie does it for me. And as much as I would like a beginning and end, as there is for every movie, for my blog I just don’t have an end in mind. The universe has a way of opening itself up to you if you know what you want and do something about going after it. Therefore I know this is something that I want to do and maybe for it to turn into something so freaking awesome that I’ll sit back one day and say, “I just did not expect that”.
So for the next 365 days of getting it done, it’s just going to be me and the daily stuff that I get up to. I’ve started a new role as a sales manager and I’m keen to see what develops down that path. Strength training is also a major part of my life. Tracking my progress over the next twelve months excites me. My girl and I are planning on starting a family next year. May as well pen that part of my life because that is monumental.
There’s also my other blog on the art of self-awareness (this link will take you there). It inspired me to start this one. If you’ve got a seatbelt handy, I highly recommend you grab it and buckle up because this is going to be one hell of a ride!

I’ve been reading through a bit of this blog (don’t ask me why). It doesn’t seem very action orientated. Are you sure the title is correct? Maybe something along the lines of “365 days of random drivel” would be more appropriate.

Quality feedback! Quality! I’ve been bothered by the whole concept of the blog for sometime now – you may have read that on a post or two. Perhaps it’s time to re-evaluate the entire project. Can I ask where you’re located on the planet?
