Day 62 of 365 days of getting it done – making it happen

It’s all coming together on day 62 of 365 days of getting it done. Hence the beer celebrating a little win for the Melbourne office of The SEO Co.

Yep, so I signed another new deal today. That’s awesome in itself but it’s just been a week of getting it done.

Making it happen is where the true awesomeness lies. The rewards and spoils are just part and parcel of the activity over the past few weeks. It’s when you love what you do for a living that makes a difference.

Do you know what’s cool? Waking up and actually loving the fun stuff that makes you money. That’s my gig with the SEO stuff I do from 9-5. Once upon a time I’d struggle to get out of bed and go to work for someone else. Not anymore. When you find a company with the right people in the right places that is moving forwards instead of backwards or the same place, it makes a hell of a difference. Especially when you are part of the growth of said company in a new market.

Okay, so I’m in sales. You can tell I’m biased to what I do. Seriously though – if you’re not appreciative of what you’re trying to achieve with your work life, then the satisfaction of what you do is going to be a little low. That’s why it takes passion to go above and beyond of what is required of you.

Besides, you don’t want to be a “Slave To The Grind”…
