What’s happening in your backyard?

Today produced an interesting conversation about an article someone had found on supposed government activity somewhere in the world that was doing secret government stuff. A conspiracy theory. Just one of thousands floating around online.

The initial statement theorized that our lives are being scrutinized by the authorities. NO! Stop the press! That’s new news never heard of before. Our private lives being watched by big brother?!

All I have to say to that is this: if we keep an eye on our own backyard, that is our current circle of influence, and focus purely on our positive energy, then that kind of crap just doesn’t raise a blip on my universal radar of awesomeness.

It’s not to say I don’t believe some stuff is going on but as long as the world isn’t set to destroy itself in the next 100 years and we can still chase our dreams, then I’m going to focus on what I can do to make this world a better place.

Like John Lennon sang, Imagine. He was thinking a lot about global positive energy. Dig him.
