Chasing the dream and being rewarded with 365 days of getting it done is where it’s at today. There’s been a couple of little wins that confirm I’m doing the right things to produce the right results. Feeling a little like this at the moment…
So let’s take a look at what’s been going on lately.
Firstly, there’s a career transition that’s taking place. Left my last role two weeks ago and within two weeks have found a new job. It’s a five minute walk from home and right next to the gym I train at. It’s also the type of role I’d been looking for – bringing in new business for a SEO/web building agency.
Then Dogged Connection, my freelance passion, got a boost when a prospect approached me via LinkedIn and requested a proposal for a national SEO campaign. Dogged Connection was born only two days before that happened. 365 days of getting it done was just warming up.
The proposal is in the midst of being completed by my loving partner in crime/graphic designer/life partner as I type this. What knocked me off my feet today was getting a phone call not three minutes after the proposal was completed. It went like this:
Caller: Hi Craig, how are you?
Me: Great! How are you?
Caller: Good too. Remember the email you sent asking for a meeting with the owner of the firm regarding working him. He wants to meet. When are you free?
Me: (… after collapsing…) Tomorrow?
Caller: 11.30am tomorrow it is. See you then.
This is how I reacted when we hung up off the phone.
The firm is a mid-tier, boutique industry leader in their field in Melbourne.
All of this has come about through nothing more than continually improving my positive energy. On a daily basis now for the past few weeks I’ve gone on an inner journey to tweak a few things to make my life more enriching. For myself and for those around me.
It’s what 365 days of getting it done is all about. Positive energy and getting it done. I’ll let you know tomorrow how the catch up pans out.
Peace.
This is just brilliant CL! I love your story as it really affirms that when you take the universe by the jugular and wring every last drop of life out of it, no blame and no excuses, the results will come. The results come! Just when I was feeling a bit low there you are again inspiring me 🙂

MG! Thank you. Feeling very much alive due to a continual drive to push, even when results haven’t been showing. Everything is really going into overdrive and it’s been due to pushing… pushing… and more pushing. There have been times when I have felt like neglecting activities for more mindless achievements but the internal voice kicks and in motivates me to get it done. Feeling low is part and parcel of the journey and I embrace those times now for I know there is something to be learned. xo
