Small steps on day 82 of 365 days of getting it done

Small steps on day 82 of 365 days of getting it done is what keeps the dream alive.
Steps - 365 days of getting it done

Yes, they are my feet and taken when walking the dogs this afternoon. For some reason I was thinking about each step and that just led to whole new thought pattern. Hence the subject of the day.

Too often we’re involved with the goal at the end. Yet it’s each of the little steps along the way that get us to where we are going.

Sometimes it seems like we take a billion steps before anything starts to happen. That damn seed of cultivation. I get how farmers must see red when they’ve invested time into their crop and for whatever reasons, there just isn’t anything growing when it’s meant to.

Yet life favours those who persevere. Especially when it’s about 365 days of getting it done.

It takes one step at a time and a belief to get to the end. Anything that is bound for awesomeness requires a love affair with the unknown because when results aren’t showing, you start to question your approach (and mentality).

Being grateful for the steps along the way certainly helps because it gives a feeling that what you’re accomplishing is worth the blood, sweat and tears. If you’re ungrateful and get to the end… well, you’re just not going to appreciate it as much, are you?

365 days of getting it done is certainly about small steps. And some very cool things have been happening lately due to the seed of cultivation in my life. Let’s just say that the landscape is shifting and for the better in ways I have only imagined (it does all start with a thought after all).

Have the end in mind but never lose sight of the journey along the way. That’s where the real magic happens if you let it. And every now then something comes along and all you can do is grin and say to yourself – “yep, I knew that was gonna happen because I’ve worked my ass off for it”.

You also have to laugh sometimes along the way… this should help.
