Day 47 of 365 days of getting it done – blogging

Life is cracking along on day 47 of 365 days of getting it done and for some reason I’ve really taken a shine to capturing a lot of moments through out my day. It’s almost like a visual diary. There’s something to be said for stopping and taking a breath through our daily journey.

Like today. The drive to see a client was around an hour and as I’m driving the horizon seemed to come into focus for no apparent reason. Then something clicked inside (there’s no pun intended regarding the ensuing words) and told me to take a photo with Flickr. Hence the above.

So… blogging. Since day one of 365 days of getting it done, there was a serendipitous path for where the blog was heading, yet knowing full well that one day an idea would stem from it that might just have potential. Actually, there’s been a few light bulb moments that have appeared along the way and now it seems they are all starting to point in one direction – a direction that was introduced to me today.

Enter photo 2 of the day taken at the same spot. That inner voice said “take the photo”.

Now there is direction – something that has been lurking in the shadows for the past couple of weeks and waiting for the right time to jump out. A bit like I’m trying to at the moment. Out of my skin with freaking excitement!

My good friend, Kellie Sanders… I’ve mentioned her before but I’ll mention her again… from PT Business Success said to me before the end of last year – have the end in mind. At the time that just seemed so foreign to my “don’t have an end in site as I’m too busy having fun along the way” attitude (that’s very similar to the way I live life… until now!) so I dismissed the thought. Yet it’s been in the back of my mind ever since. Again, something else that’s been waiting for the right moment.

Blogging for 365 days of getting it done over the last 47 days has been amazing and the “level ups” in my life since have been bewildering. Another one is occurring (can you tell I play computer games – at the young age of 40) and it’s blast!

To some, those stats may be absolute crap but to me – I’m blown away! It’s always been the plan to grow out the blogs organically. So for that reason I’m stoked with the progress.

Life continually improves on a daily basis.
