Day 46 of 365 days of getting it done – improvising

Day 46 of 365 days of getting it done - improvising

That’s me on day 46 of 365 days of getting it done, bending over and taking a photo of my towel covered butt. Why? Because I was improvising at the gym today.

See, I’m the type of person that if I’m training hard at the gym and something like tearing the the seam out of my shorts only a 1/4 of the way through the session, then I’m going to find a way to keep going because I have a freaking goal that I want to achieve. No ‘sooky-la-la excuses that someone can see my bum so I’m going home’ type scenarios.

HELL NO! Thankfully I had a little had town that I could easily tuck into the back of my shorts and keep going. The gym instructor couldn’t stop laughing. Such is life.

I believe there comes a time when you are chasing goals that you will do whatever it takes to see the goal through if you dedicated enough to the cause. So when a challenge comes your way – start improvising! Even though what occurred to me today was a minor incident (less than minor in the grand scheme of things), it was still a little ‘gold nugget’ learning experience because it told me that I’m not the type of person to walk away from a challenge anymore. Especially when I want the goal so badly!

365 days of getting it done – leaning does not allow for excuses. Especially when I had 2 beers and a somewhat unhealthy dinner last night (thank you Boss!) and knew I had to get it done today.

So if you’re goal is something you really want – you’ll do whatever it takes to get it.
