Day 41 of 365 days of getting it done – perseverance

Mr Perseverance

Day 41 of 365 days of getting it done.

Everybody – this is Roger Federer getting it done last night at the Australian Open. It was the first time I’d gone to see him play and what a FREAK! He just made it look, oh so, effortless. Sure he was sweating but it was 40C there last night so he should have been sweating.

I wonder if Roger, at some point in his early tennis life, questioned his ability to keep going when things weren’t going his way? I’d really like to know what made him persevere to the point of becoming the world champion that he is.

As a manager for The SEO Co, trying to get runs on the board for a newly established office in Melbourne is a challenge. If sales were easy, everyone would be doing it, right?

Perseverance to push through when there’s no instant reward for efforts can be tough at times but I’m up for it! The 365 days of getting it done is helpful because on a daily basis I get to reflect on what I’ve done, where I’m at and what is ahead. It’s the best thing I could have done for myself and wish I had of started something like this years ago.

No biggy. I’m getting it done now and that’s what matters.

By the way (shameless self plug here) – if you haven’t checked out the Melbourne SEO Guru page yet, then please do so. You never know, you might just learn something cool about the on-line space.

Fitting song for today. Hatebreed’s “Perseverance”.
