Thankfully it’s a new day today. Yesterday was just a pure bum out for most of the day. Getting it done twenty four hours ago was sad. Simple as that. I’m not going to dwell on it anymore for what’s done is done. The mourning period will continue because it’s hard to escape the media. Yet one of the most frustrating things I found yesterday was after I put a post on facebook saying I still believe this world will be a peaceful one, one day. Thinking about it, I should have said this world is a peaceful one because in my world it is. Sorry – getting off track.
The frustration came from a couple of people who said either don’t hold my breath or peace will never happen. It’s with ignorant thinking like that that the world will take longer transform. Most people think that it must up to them to resolve the worlds challenges and therefore believe that the world cannot change. If everyone just started looking after their own backyard first. Actually, if everybody looked after their own backyard and smashed out their own 365 days of getting it done, then the world would almost instantly find peace. Seriously!
If every human on this planet was to step back and take a minute to resolve their own internal conflict, then people would stop focusing on others and the world would unite. I know – a very simple idea. Ahhh, I’m not going to sit here and blab on about it. The world IS sorting itself out as I type this.
So today I continue to look within myself and find the things that I can do around my “world” that I can have a positive impact on. Stuff like being a more loving and caring partner to Alicia. Giving more time to my dogs. Be as fit, strong and healthy as I can. Why? Because the more energy I have within, the more energy I can give out. GET ON IT! Day 8 of 365 days of getting it done definitely has me back on track to making a positive difference in my world.
On the road to awesomeness.
