Day 3 of 365 days of getting it done!

From the brief research I’ve done, it would seem day 3 is the ending of most peoples journey into the 365 days of getting it done. Day 1 already seems so long ago now and the journey ahead feels like I’m about to breaststroke my way to Mars. Do you know what though? I’ll be a damn awesome breaststroker (no laughing as no pun was intended) by the time the year has passed.

It’s 11:43am in sunny St Kilda and I’m sitting in a cafe across from Melbourne’s “Tan”. There are so many people sitting down and discussing their own 365 days of getting it done that I feel inspired simply sitting here and feeding off their energy. Inspiration can be found in the most unusual places if you go looking it for it – or have an open enough mind to look for it. I’m also feeling inspired by catching up with a guy who I call the Walking Buddha this morning and hoping that he becomes a big part of the picture next year. Don’t be fooled by the title – the guy is an energy machine… more on him later.

By the way, it’s scary as shit putting yourself out there like I am. 365 days of getting it done is a freaking long time to keep to something but the one thing I’m already thriving on is that exact thing – if I’m going to put myself out there then I’d better darn well follow through otherwise I’m just a guy hiding behind a computer saying I’m going to do this and that and not do anything at all. FUCK THAT! I’ve done that for most of my life. Now I feel like I have the energy, confidence and resolve to follow this through. GAME ON!

So I’ve knocked over 2 of the 3 things for today. 45 minutes of cardio/kettlebell and abs this morning made me sooooooo hungry after the work I thought my stomach would eat me from the inside out. More sessions like that to follow for sure as it turns up the energy levels to max! The blog – destroyed that last night. It’s going to be a every 3 day thing as it’s really about the SEO life I live. Still felt good to actually smash another piece out though. I have a 1.30pm appointment that is an hours drive away and then I’m finishing the last task – speak with 10 local businesses.
