It begins! I’m going for a straight laced blog – no fancy stuff. Just me and my thoughts getting out to the world! It’s day 1 of 365 days of getting it done. I’m starting these blogs as a way to understand Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) for a new role I started three weeks ago. It’s such an interesting space to be in – the web, as the landscape continually changes. I have a youtube video that has appeared on the first page of Google’s search results for “art of self-awareness”. There’s also a blog for that as well.
Anyway, enough about that. Day 1 it is! So I’ve already started the journey by creating this blog and getting it finally off the ground so to speak. I’ve been umming and ahhhing about doing this for months now and have actually started a few times but within minutes have given up. That’s the biggest take away from today – once an idea comes to mind then there’s no time like the present to get it done! I saw another blog that was started a couple of years ago with a similar idea and that person only lasted 3 days… WTF?
This is 365 days of getting it done and I’m determined to get all the way through. I want to look back and see what journey my life has taken me on from simply putting my thoughts down and then letting the universe do the rest. Something inside of me says this is going to be a game changer.
I think I might put down 3 cool things I want to do tomorrow as an ongoing thing to do. For tomorrow:
* Deadlift 150kg for 2 reps
* Contact a business coach for cross-marketing
* Meditate for 10 minutes
Okay, that just got me a little excited! Well peeps, it’s time stop being an online nerd and time to get it on! See you on the road to awesomeness real soon.

Danielle, Danielle, Danielle. My energy and optimism haven’t always been my friends. It’s taken time to build a friendly relationship with them and trust me, we still have our challenges and days where we don’t get along. Besides, they have to do as I tell them anyway! Day 3 is kicking off and I’m having a blast. We’ll have to finally meet up and soon! Be good!

Lyn! Thanks for the kind words. I’m still not sure why I felt compelled to tell my friends about this little journey – actually, I think I’m still scared I won’t see it through but that’s part of the excitement… pushing through. I feel the need – THE NEED FOR SPEED!
